Eid, meaning 鈥榗elebration鈥 or 鈥榝estival鈥, refers to a time of joyous celebration. There are two dedicated times of Eid in Islam that Muslims around the globe celebrate. Eid al-Fitr, translated as 鈥渢he festival of breaking the fast鈥, marks the end of the month of Ramadan. This festival is a particularly significant time to get together, appreciate blessings, share special treats and delicacies, and celebrate with the community.
