The UMA Bangor Campus Dental Health Programs hosted its annual Give Kids a Smile庐 Day event on Friday, February 21st. The 2025 event was a resounding success, with a full day of patients, dental assisting and dental hygiene students gaining valuable pediatric experience, and faculty and staff volunteers giving back to the community.
The following services were provided by 12 UMA Senior Dental hygiene and three Dental Assisting students and they were supervised by our UMA Dental Health Programs faculty and staff:
- Dental Cleanings and dental examinations
- Dental x-rays
- Fluoride treatments
- Dental sealants聽
- Oral Health and nutrition education聽
- a Goodie bag to take home with:聽toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss聽
